The Third Edition Of Recent Cinema From Spain Film Series Kicks Off With A Presentation Event Of The First Lineup Of Selected Movies At The Iconic Olympia Theater In Miami.

To kick off the third edition of the RECENT CINEMA from SPAIN FILM SERIES, EGEDA (Audio-Visual Producers' Rights Management Association) and THE OLYMPIA THEATER AT THE GUSMAN CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS hosted a presentation event last night Wednesday, September 25, 2013 for over 400 guests. The celebration, presented by Margaret Lake (Director, Olympia Theater) and Elvi Cano (Executive Director, EGEDA U.S.) took place at the iconic Olympia theatre at The Gusman Center for Performing Arts where guests  enjoyed a presentation announcing the selected movies that will be included in this year's series this November. Following  the  reception  and  program  announcements  guests  were  invited  to  watch Director Fernando Trueba's award-winning classic film "CALLE 54".

Among the guest:  Nicolas Vallejo Najera "Colate ", MarySol Patton, Consul General of Spain in Miami Javier Pagalday, Valina Interian, Executive Director of Cultural Affairs at Miami Dade College,  Francisoc Tardio, Director of the Spanish cultural centre in Miami and Emilio Sanchez ,Director of Spain-FLoridaFoundation 500 years.

The Recent Cinema from Spain Series is produced by EGEDA (Audio-Visual Producers' Rights Management Association) and the Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts. This event also included the collaborating institutions of the Miami Book Fair International 2013, CCE (Centro Cultural Español) and the Spain-Florida Foundation 500 Years.
